My fav mangas that meet all OR at least a few of these criteria:
 
— well written characters
* Feel like ‘actual’ ppl w/ personalities that you care about & are interested in
* Not so stupid to the point where their actions hinder the story 

— entertaining/worthwhile plot 
* Conflict is reasonable
* Not too many fillers 

— good tone
* maintains balance btwn humor & drama  
* doesn’t make you cringe (too much) 

— natural dialogue/character interactions 
— happy/entertaining
