DON'T BASE on the community rating. It's a judgement w/o the consideration that it's a comedy manga. There's tons of underrated hilarious stories. I'll rate base on how good of a humor it is because THAT'S WHAT WE CAME FOR.

akame humor rating: ▁▂▃ slapstics, sitcom-ish, breaking the 4th wall. I can't believe I did not watch since it got first uploaded, it's so funny. Gullible MC did a classic "confess to the wrong person" and it's a guy, and a gloomy guy at that! OFC guy said yes and the devilish friends were super amused and their antics adds more to the hilarity. Love this story. And the MC is starting to fell for the guy too.
