2017: this might be a byproduct of reading/watching too much shounen/seinen action flicks but I've always loved those "hidden badass trope". There's a few of them here already might as well add more.
HIDDEN BADASS - lame guy is actually cool. - judged mr. ordinary too early. - any genre even slice of life.
