In this universe, there are three different genders for both males and females. Three added genders are Alpha, Beta, and Omeaga. Depending on the author Betas can be in a relationship and pair with and Omega or Alpha. Alpha's and Omega's have fated pair bonds. However, they can mate with someone other than thier fated pair if they are bitten/marked by an Alpha.
