Underrated

Character stories in the first half were really good. Started out with many deaths, then mellowed out and became very hopeful, then at the end they killed tons of people in an instant, I guess as life does, to drive the plot towards Great's misery. The ending of Bear disappearing for good was expected, he's lived long enough, Great gets a second chance but tbh with bear's memories he might as well still be bear. I don't think it's a happy ending even though they sent great off to fight aliens
