Why did I start with this...?
I read this a few years ago, I think. Back then it was only a few chapters and I decided to let it marinate when the blond duke left. I thought for sure there would be romance between them.
The story itself it... meh. I thought the mystery behind fl's past was interesting, but I felt icky whenever she interacted with the male leads like that considering she was in a younger body. I should have stopped when I saw the red flags.
(Dropped it at chapter 54)
I think its an interesting story, but I might shelf this to finish later. The characters fell a bit flat, especially the ml, and the story and mystery aspect of finding ogfl's murderer itself just didn't hold my interest very well. But that might just be because it's still early in the story? The artstyle is beautiful, but it might not be my cup of tea.
Shelved it at around chapter 40
Surprisingly, I love it so much. The fl is so resourceful and smart that it overshines the fact that she's a dense idiot who can't see that the ml is falling for her. The ml isn't overly cruel to the point where it feels like unnecessary abuse. I'm interested to see where it goes.
Girly still thinks its the blonde even if all clues point to somewhere else. Jeez. So wary, and for what?
It had such great potential at first, I was really interested to see where it was going since the fl seemed smart... but this feels like its going nowhere. And it looks like she's suddenly a mage and going to fight for the throne or something? Smh
Unsure of whether I want to keep reading or not.
I read the novel for this, though I only got so far since most of the novel was for paying customers. The fl is interesting and resourceful. I think I like the dynamic between them, though it's weird for me how the ml suddenly got over the ogfl so quickly but I'm willing to overlook that since he's super cute.
I have mixed feelings abt this webtoon.
It's not historical. But a romance with a time travel plot.
I had to skip a lot of chapters since I didn't like how cringy and aggressive the fl was in liking the ml. But when she came back to her own time, I liked their chemistry. I think it's a good read, if you ignore some parts.
I love the fl so much.
I'm reading the novel for this and it gets so much better. I don't have much words for it, but I love her dynamic with the blond ml. She's strong, logical, but still has the necessary morals to live through an apocalypse.
Hmm, I have mixed feelings, tbh. I read the novel version, but from the comments it seems like its kinda the same.
Felt like all the girls were just fighting each other which gave me ah.. meh, vibe. It made it feel as though all the girls were shallow and only existed to give fl a good rep. And then there's the fact that the assault scene was so easily brushed off by the ml. Then the rushed ending... well, the plot was interesting, so I read the whole thing anyway. It just fell flat for me.
So... boring. So utterly boring. I might pick it up again later on. But the start was just not doing anything for me. She's just so preoccupied by what other people think or feel that it's becoming selfish. A simple illusion of kindness. Fl is boring. Ml is boring. The only person who held a shred of my interest is the mage. And the brother.
