Gah idk I hate it but I don't. Like I get both their perspectives, but she could communicate so much better. She is an Empress stand in & the concubines have the power to start wars. She has to push the ML into the 4 concubines arms, even if she hates it. So now he thinks she doesn't care for him.
The husband is sooo effed. I have a theory, the ML spirit split into 3 in this universe and that's why her brothers and dad are so weird & infatuated
