Prince ends up staying with a huntress and she fairly quickly decides he's meant for her. Their romance is smooth with no one trying to break them apart. It is a bit fast paced, but for the most part it's a light hearted romance so that's fine.
Priscilla enters into a contract marriage with the ML after turning back time in the hopes of avoiding the horrible future she'd lived through. I'm really enjoying this one.
An arranged, political marriage between an illegitimate child of a king with a tyrant emperor. Our FL decides if she's going to die (the emperor's rep is BAD) she's going to go out with a bang and take the ones that sent her there down with her.
Honestly, I don't think there are words to describe how next to perfect this story is. Roxant and Leah are amazing! Leah is the strong female lead that so many stories want to be, but always fail to be. She's skilled, and strong of character, cold even when she needs to be. But she's compassionate about those she cares about. And Roxant is the "cold male lead" that truly works! He's built up to be this "monster" but that's purely because of what he needs to do to protect his family.
This is so nice! The story doesn't drag on and on and on like so many. Things move along at smooth but brisk pace. The romance is believable (even if there's a destined element), and I like the plot overall. The characters are also amazing, no one is truly "good" or "evil". They're human, some of which make horrendous thing happen in the name of their own interest, but again human. It's a wonderful read.
