— pyscho fl's are always nice, this one also has a huge plot twist as well, with karen you can both hate and like her at the same time, she can be am awful person but you can't help but recognize it's not entirely her fault for the way she is, her troubles and problems are more then that of the average female lead.
— you'll see complaints about fl being weak, but don't listen to them, she's actually very strong for someone in her situation just deeply traumatized and as the story goes on she learns to actually want and protect what she finally has, it's nice to read her heal from trauma and finally care for herself.
— reading about a female lead actually experiencing her trauma in real time was crazy I feel like a lot of stories just do flashbacks or time skips, seeing chaerin finally find a new reason to continue to try again felt great so was watching her put herself back together after so much.
— iconic, she saved an entire family of people just by being herself, despite such a traumatic betrayal she was able to keep her head up and even carry the pain of a whole new family, just the way she treats all the individuals in this story was so kind and genuine.
— ashtarte made me cry so bad, she's so pure and seeing her slowly realize her family isn't worth it was painful, but also seeing her realize her true family are those who were with her when no one else was was satisfying and again so so sad, she deserved so much better.
— in a time period like this such a tom-boyish and intelligent fl is alot more satisfying then you'd assume, despite her position (and the genre) it's unique to see a character so uninterested & disgusted in romance, her husband definitely has to work for it for once in his life.
— this story is the slowest of slow in character development, but so very worth it, although I wish some things were revealed earlier it's still nice to slowly unveil the female leads trauma as the story goes on, you'll feel bad for her and it'll only get worst, but despite all the trouble she still stretches herself thin for family.
— she's just so incredibly silly and despite everything she's been through, she really was given a second chance in a new world and is working her best to keep it, it's great to read about someone so thankful for their body and health.
