Comics I really like based on the quality of the story, it's creativity, and/or message/usage of themes. I read a lot of isekai/transmigration manhwas and the Korean webcomic publishing companies (kakao comics previously daum webtoons, naver webtoons, Lezhin) tend to dig into clichés that quickly get old and boring but pay the bills/become guaranteed hits. This list is here to appreciate the comics that stray from the norm and stretch the genre's landscape. But of course, I still have my biases.
