I'm not sure what it is, but there's something about terminally ill (or borderline) MCs that people just love, myself included. There isn't anything special about this one, but the pacing, art, and story are all good, despite the repetitive premise. There isn't anything intricate yet in the storyline, but the MC and side characters are all interesting enough to keep reading. I�
