claims to be a revenge plot but mc is too passive abt it? there's some payback happening but it's mostly coincidental rather than a plot schemed by the mc. also kinda slow paced? also idk whatever the hell is going on with the mc and (assumed) ml.
plot: mc makes a deal w the king/assumed ml where she acts as an agent for him and he helps her get revenge on her ex husb, his mistress, and inlaws.
kind of a mixed bag but it's going so slow w regards to everything: plot, revenge, romance. some regrets if u squint
mc is one of the most traumatized characters right up there with ruby so it makes sense that she's so passive/resigned to the abuse. still v much frustrating tho, to the point that she made a plan to run away but she spent the entirety of the story "making up her mind" and it took this 49 chaps for her to finally run away. with that said, idk how the revenge/regret part will go, it seems like ml is gonna be the duke anyway
