but im speaking for myself rn when i say i cannot read a manga/watch an anime w an unlikeable mc.
deku is js mid to me bruh. he harbours every single personality trait i despise in a mc. whether that be his crybaby agenda,, his utter weakness or his inability to conversate with others without folding like an omelette,, i just dont like him & this is precisely why i prefer bakugou/todoroki.

exist only to ship him with another guy. like they do not exist bcs they like him/his personality fr,, they like him bcs they themselves r delusional nd want him to be with another man.
it’s kinda weird how obssesive some ppl are with attempting to make deku gay. not that i care abt bro in the slightest,, but it’s js annoying to see. especially when romance is barely an underlying theme in this.

(5/6) i probably don’t like this bcs the mc is too much of a wuss & i’ve been reading too much abt strong mcs lately. in addition to the annoying fandom who gave me infinite more reasons to never watch this again.
i’ve probably mischaracterised deku so bad & i completely blame the fandom for this too. the only time i had faith in this & actually liked deku was him in his vigilante era. LIKE OOOUU THAT WAS SO GOOD.

(6/6) this damn manga had to last approximately 3 chapters LOOOOOOLLL.
i also hate uraraka. she pisses me off with tremendous efficiency. gotta applaud her for it tho. other than orihime,, a female character has never pissed me off that much in my life.
