Her husband is pure, irredeemable trash and the fact that he manipulated her into accepting his flaws disgusts me.
It’s not regression or isekai if she merely picks up a highly suspicious book that seemingly outlines her future as an eventual villainess and tries to change…only to catch stick-to-the-plot-itis as though her efforts to change things never mattered and the new relationships can be easily broken. (It’s still very good, but falls into isekai/regression tropes despite not being one.)

I dropped it because the next season isn’t on here and it’s been so long since I read the first I haven’t found the motivation to find more. It was good though and FL was pretty badass.

FL attaining happiness through one of the few human connections she made on her own, outside her scheming mother’s influence is just right. Any parent claiming to care for their child only to drop them like a hot potato for disobeying for the sake of their own happiness does not have their child’s best interests at heart.
