(What romance???) I found out exactly how long the original novel is and kind of lost hope. The title only references the existence of a harem for political purposes and, to that end, it remains until the end of the series. It’s almost all plot with romantic potential that goes ignored.

Fantastic, my main gripe is the attempts to use antiquated English in the dialogue.

Do not get the appeal of ML like at all, even after being spoiled, and timid FLs aren’t my thing. This is a “me” problem though, it’s a good story and the art is gorgeous.

Zero chemistry between the leads and FL started acting like a doormat once ML arrived up north and is treated like some uncultured barbarian who doesn’t know better…and takes it (he may be the prince but it’s your castle dammit). This isn’t the clash of personalities I signed up for, it’s just everyone making assumptions and not communicating in a way that’s simply frustrating.
