Sk8 Infinity might be a good addition to the list. Even the author of that manga wants it to be gayer, but it falls under the curse of every sports manga/anime and is only allowed to imply all of the gay heavily. The popular side ship (MatchaBlossom aka Joe/Cherry) is even shipped by their VAs. (can't remember if it's the Japanese or English VAs though) To quote its famous blind reactions on TikTok, "Great show. 9/10 Not enough smooches."
