Depressing and feels more "literary" for the last 23 chapters.
The female character that popped out at Chapter 22 is is... just not it. Feels like a slap in the face wake up call of a typical old school shounen bratty girl.
The beginning is so intense though! Feels like one of those stories where you are constantly kept in suspense and dread as you carefully read though the pages and analyse everything the characters say and do.
