kim dokja is such a little shit, he always has the upper hand regardless of strength and i simply find his character so interesting.
Florentia, after devoting her life to the lombardi family, watches as it falls apart. After waking in her past, she vows to become the matriarch and make it so that future never happens again.
I love a character that has clear goals. Save her father, save her family, save the prince. She simply does whatever she can to fix the problems that she saw in her old future.
roxanne is such an interesting character. Although Im not a huge fan of the “i transmigrated into a novel” trope (i think it’s better if the character has actual ties to the plot and other characters), roxanne is a strong woman who hides her empathy in a family of killers. Really endearing character.
Zelle is a princess who has lived her life under the radar in order to escape the succession war that is being fought by her other siblings. After turning into a falcon, and finding that none of her siblings are able to take the place of leadership, she takes the role of a leader that she had once swore to never uphold.
Her devotion to her country and people is outstanding.
Penelope is a woman who is doing everything in her power to survive in a world where everything is working against her.
The desperation that she feels is so strong, and every time something goes wrong I feel for ever fiber of her being. She needs to work harder than everyone else just to be loved, I want her to find happiness where this isn’t the case! Pray that she finds others who see her true potential (cough cough prince “she will be my wife”)
Ham Dani. Ham Dani. Ham Dani!!!
The fear of being forgotten, of feeling out of place. Oh boy does my little autistic self relate so strongly to Ham Dani.
I did cry when I saw the devotion that her friends feel for her. Even when she is forgotten, her absence creates such a strong void in their life that even the background characters are going “aren’t we missing something?”
You are not forgotten Ham Dani, they will not let you just disappear!
Oh my god Han Chae Ah. You are everything to me.
Her fight for survival, for love, for acceptance. Mwah. She is so strong in the face of adversity, and her ability to not be the weaker character in a relationship when the dude is literally a vampire?
I am a firm believer that a relationship cannot have a power imbalance. Park Yoonsoo is very strong, but Chae Ah holds power over him in a way that she does not allow him to take control of their story.
