based on personal preferences. the stories on this list may not be a masterpiece in other reader's book, but certain aspects of these stories are extremely well-written which I think constitutes them as masterpieces.

one of the best manhwas in terms of storytelling and worldbuilding (after tower of god). inspired by Hindu/Indian gods. the plot is very complex, the start is slow, but the payoff is soooo good it blew my mind away. there are very well-written characters and their own stories, that tie together as the plot develops. there's mystery, romance, tragedy (emphasis on tragedy), and a bit of comedy.
