masterpieces (encompasses all genres)

a bit conflicted about putting it here, but it's a very good coming-of-age drama bl manhwa about two boys with scars with which they have different ways of dealing. art is undeniably beautiful. the artist is masterful in evoking emotion with their shading /lighting with the charas' expressions. it's slowburn, but i like my romances that way.

Lloyd has the best deranged expressions of all manhwa mcs. his dynamic and banter with his friend, family, and others is hilarious. love how much the narrative is playing with the ugly mc trope. one of the best in terms of fantasy/comedy/action /engineering manwha

i might be a bit biased by adding this, but it is shounen ai/re-encounter/angst/flirty yet dangerous ml so it is one of my fav bl manhwas. plot is entertaining; revolves around finding the murderer "august" who killed mc's family. everything is well-written, cast is diverse, ml is a great balance of psychotic and romantic and only cares about mc, and the plot and romance doesn't drag and ends in 75 chapters.
