Shitty men (shojo)

Add this to the already long list of "Patriarchal trash family feeling sorry for themselves and never really do real amends/reparation".

The generic plot line following-

Prophesy: Black hair FL will ruin the world.
Fam: Ok *neglects n hates FL*.
FL: actually is the saint (wow what a surprise)
Fam: *omg how could we ever redeem ourselves* *regrets* *throws pity parties for themselves*

9/10 the angst is actually not bad, love whenever FL shuts down fam's attempts to approach her

FL helped hero party defeat dragon but was discredited bc she was a commoner. Everyone she helped turned against her, and she got enough. FL ran away to a rural village, lives under another identity.

That was until the dragon woke up from its short-lived slumber. And now the hero party needs her yet again, but FL was like "wtf do u think i am, dumb? u ungrateful backstabbing bitches"

4/10 idk the story isn't serving me anything iygwim, like there is no surprise

Ongoing (KR)

I cried many times reading this bc of second-hand frustrations I get. FL gets accused of things she didn't do, everyone's preconception is she's a villainess. Her reasons to defend herself are rebutted with "URE EVIL SO URE GUILTY". It's like talking to a wall. Four family members, none willing to listen.

They regret later on, apologising but FL's emotions are burnt to non-existence and she has no expectations or trust for anyone.
