The bastard emperor is not the ML. Unsure if that guy even regrets in the end. A lot of discussion on how disappointing the story is from novel readers, but waiting for more manhwa chaps to decide for myself.

After several misunderstandings, they separated. ML later tried to manipulate FL into liking him by acting uninterested, just so he can rub it in about how he's fine without her + to make her suffer w jealousy. FL liked him but insecure ass thought he moved on, so she suffered for a bit but then she was like *ok well, im moving on too*
ML: *cries* why dont you like me anymore.

5/10. Lack of communication for ~first 30ch was infuriating
FL was prophesied to be the reincarnated first saint bc of her pink hair, separated from parents & trained to be a crown princess. Oracle changed & a bitch was her replacement, crown prince (CP) asked for breakup & years of all her effort were a lie. FL decides on revenge.
Underlying conspiracy on new oracle. EVERYONE seems to be pining after FL. CP *seems* to have reasons for breakup so idk if the revenge will be satisfying (if CP did what he did for FL's safety).
FL knew she transmigrated into villainess, but couldnt help falling for ogSubML, thinking she changed storyline enough. Yet ogSubML still sided with saintess, left FL to go to saintess the night before wedding day bc they were "FRIENDS".
If they didn't marry on the day, the parties suffer and die. ogML had no choice but to marry FL to keep her alive. SubML this piece of shit had the audacity to get mad bc she married ogML, when he himself married the saint to survive too.

FL got hit by truck, wakes up in the midst of an arranged marriage that the previous body desperately wanted. But FL was done w arranged marriages without love.
ML abhors FL bc hes disgusted by women who only chase him for his looks.
Both agrees to divorce consensually after a year, but ML keeps finding FL interesting bc she isnt who she used to be.

Powerful mage can't die til she defeats the dragon. She thought she did a double K.O. in her last battle, but turns out dragon's still alive & her body's dead. FL's soul replaced a spoiled noble girl who's head over heels w ML. ML despises her. FL tries to be reasonable but constantly gets bad attitude from ML.
ML thinks of mage FL as a hero and respects her. So basically he's insulting his own idol without knowing. Regrets when he finds out.

ML is not shitty, the family is. FL has terminal illness, but the family never knew or cared. Neglected for so long, since she only had a year to live, she'll travel north and live how she wants... away from her family.
(The AUDACITY of them to say *oh i wonder why she ran away* made me want to go choke them to death)
The more conscientious ones in the shitty family came to regret later.

FL, the chosen child of god, was abused all her life because her mother was a "lowly woman" who dared to sleep with the emperor. They couldn't kill her so she was locked away in the attic. FL pretends to be stupid but was planning her revenge. Emperor traded FL to neighbouring country, without knowing doing this would basically doom their whole country. Everyone who treated her wrong will regret cuz FL's dead set on revenge.
