This is a general list of manga that never felt like a drag to me. The decisions by the mangakas seemed intentional and the stories are those that invoked genuine thought of emotion. No particular genre but just a list of fun reads to fall back on.
I love josei and older manga but the list will include some of my favourite nostalgic reads that may not be everyone’s cup of tea!
