FL cares a lot about her sister. After somehow waking up back in time, her immediate goal is to go to the palace as a princess candidate instead of her sister because thats how her sister was brutally murdered.
FL is very selfless but also not dumb. She knows how to navigate around the palace/politics after she becomes queen and knows not to fall in love, the same reason her sister was killed.
The manga never takes itself too serious being self aware of the ridiculousness what certain aspects of its story/fantasy side entails. But it also knows when to not be fully comical to deliver plot points or have genuine moments to develop its relationships
FL just wants to go back to the modern world and her family. All the og male leads "fall in love" with her. In reality they just want to play knight and get a moral high from "saving her".
Ironically they become the biggest obstacles, trying to stop FL from returning home to continue their delusions about her.
Summary:
The original story's male leads are brothers. Mc is married to and destined to be killed the younger brother while he's destined to 2nd male lead-ed.
After her reincarnation, they develop a genuine relationship. But as he falls for her, he notices unhinged out of place thoughts (from the original plot line) creep in.
The og fl is also starts being weird about no longer having a second man just existing to love her while shes off happy w/ his older brother. Ick
On "Haitus" :'(
The main premise of this story despite starting off very revenge driven is actually the genuine romance between the two leads. No one immediately falls in love with the other, their relationship is developed and makes sense.
FL's rival who she once fought on the battlefield as her nations biggest threat becomes her fiancé who she slowly falls in love with.
FL's desire to kill the friend who betrayed her becomes someone she simply wants to forget and get away from.
100% Comedy, fully satire and very self aware of itself. It loves making fun of romance/harem sterotypes as much as I love reading them.
FL is such a chaotic neutral.
Deciding she's old asf and lived a fulfilled life she decides to die. But instead of the eternal sleep she hoped for, she immediately wakes up in the body of a much younger and smaller version of herself.
All FL wants to do is enjoy a fulfilled life of doing absolutely nothing. And I respect her for that
Both FL and ML reincarnated from another story. Although she was initially planning to never reunite with ML, he hires her not knowing it's her to make a potion that will alleviate his "situation".
