complete. historical, sci fi, romance, otome isekai

a meditation on what it truly means to occupy another person’s life and whether it means anything if said person was made from artificial intelligence. a story within a story. i really liked the court schemes and how this played around with otome isekai tropes! i love the main character so bad!! the graphic design sense and aesthetic really stands out to me as well! 10/10

complete! romance, regency, regression

more romance than otome isekai and it works because the two main characters have so much chemistry! this is not a complex otome isekai; it is more lighthearted and character-focused rather than like, a plot for the succession of the throne. very fresh!! plot gets a lil silly and rushed at the end but overall it’s a fun read. 9/10!

ongoing. historical fantasy, gothic, psychological

the first act is ~60ish chapters and is a sweet tale of friendship amidst the growing mystery of the big house on the hill. one of my favorite reading experiences ever. without spoiling anything i’ll just say: this comic made me fully insane. 10/10

the thematic grit of this is insane! what does it mean to be immortal? how do you end the cycles of suffering when you have so little control on your own body? Im Obsessed.

completed! otome isekai, regression, family hurt/comfort

it’s unexpectedly funny and beautifully illustrated and has a lot of heart! i love claude as a tragic figure who is extremely flawed and expresses his grief with every pore of his body except with his mouth. the pacing was a lil eh but there’s a reason why it’s a timeless classic! 7/10
