MC is super obsessive and creepy and his love is unhealthy. I really want him to give up on those chains and shine. Personally, I think ML's affairs are messy and I really hate him intentionally hurting MC w/o firmly rejecting MC cause he figured out MC's feelings. Didn't ML say he can't be friends when there are feelings cause it's irresponsible? Hypocrite much? This pacing is weird. 63 chaps in, nothing's happened at all, Idk where this plot going and the season ended in the most abrupt way.

No, can I just say I hate MC too? Probs not her fault, but MC's stupid, annoying, cruel and makes/drags on conflict for n/r. Many people have DIED, MC hurt ML but MC heartlessly insists, "It's not the time rn", rme. Tbh, it's prob the author making her behave illogically or contrived so that the author can pretend there's plot/drama when there's none. MC also took credit for the alchemist's work so. Baron's new fiancee is actually smart and strong so I like her, unlike MC. MC gives me the ick.

So Emperor's response to being a bad father is being a useless emperor to his loyal subjects? So MC's response as a victim of cheating is to flirt, blush and makeout w/ ML, who's in a rel, w/ no hesitation/disgust bout ML cheating? So ML's cruel actions to MC was not cause he hated the Duke/felt betrayed but cause he got satisfaction from hurting an innocent girl? So why ML the ML instead of 5th Prince? So why Stena want to be Empress to the pt of blackmail? So why 'intelligent' MC so stupid?

Hmmm, I'm really starting to dislike reading this. It feels like a chore, not cause of the plot/angst/tragedy/trashiness of all 4 of the main char's, but cause the number of abrupt flashbacks and then back to the present, is disorienting, frustrating and it just feels like the whole story's stalling for time. Then, in comes CP2, and the story is even slower and more jumbled. Good story but horrible storytelling. Idt I want to continue. DNF?

Thought this would be similar to Spirit Farmer, but I dropped that one @92 for various reasons, so I was skeptical. However, so far, this is pretty good. Similar elements but it's much more exciting than how they were implemented and executed in Spirit Farmer. Hope they keep up the excitement factor.

Tbh, I thought I wouldn't like this at all, but wow, I'm bloody invested. The storytelling, the mystery, the flashbacks, I think it's executed really well. Idk much, but I just feel like this is all ML's ruse to get MC close to him again and give MC purpose and there's no mystery at all, just all lies and hoaxes. But what if it isn't? That's what keeps me so riveted. What if they want to cut off ML's back to replace the turtle shell? It seems farfetched rn, but maybe there's really a ploy.
