Didn't love this story but it did seem original so I kept w/ it. However, if you can't do romance, and make girls annoying judgemental snobs, how bout have less of that? Listen, I love bartender/quest lady. She fine, competent and intelligent. Every other girl, a walking bimbo. They have all the shiny qualifications but act terribly FOR N/R. Imagine seeing a stranger in the library, scorning their reading and immediately assuming they're untalented. Idk 1 girl who would do this to a random guy.
I cried for 45 mins after the ending, This was really hard to read sometimes cause of it being too real and hitting home too hard. DV, neglect, bullying, framing, and just being gay. Life on these 2 were so hard and anybody who's been through even one of these would understand, but the impact of the ending was sm. It's really not fair. To not even be able to say proudly, "I love this person, this person is mine for life," much less have the right to marriage, that's just how it is. Great read.
