*Everything about the plot has ALREADY changed+gone off the rails, NPC very obviously alludes as such in a way pre-k students would get* MC: Huh? Idu. Is this man really a con man? He's just saying generic ish to sound mysterious. Can anything change when the routes have already been set? Me: If my brain was this bad, I'd see no point in continuing to live.
The way they don't even act like he's human, not even considering MC was a slave too and that he could be the same. Holy crap. They really treat slaves worse than animals and think it's right. What's the difference between maids and slaves, royals and knights? None. These people are vile garbage for treating this poor kid like that. No matter how nice they treat MC, you really see the condescending, narcissistic+evil monsters they are w/ this. I wouldn't be able to look these things in the eye.
