Consists of stories where people are transported from their (typically human) world including, parallel universe, virtual world, etc. It can include someone dying in the human world and having a second chance in life with a new identity in a new world with memories of their past life and possible knowldege of the future of characters in their new world. Also includes regressors, people who are sent back in time, and are able to restart their own lives with memories of their past.
