300% angst love, no confinement.
This entire plot was written as a rage bait. You can tell by how pitiful the MC and her family is written to be, and yet, how irritating the MC’s character is. she doesn’t ever fight back properly against her fake family, but lashes her anger towards the ML. The ML is the real victim out of the story. He is actually a reasonable character who doesn’t know anything b/c no one told him the truth.

There’s a lot of angst in this romance. But no confinement :) just a man in love with a girl from his childhood.
