reads i'll never forget

i'm not up to date on this, so i'm not sure if it aged well or not. from what i remember, it was pretty sweet and cute.

the characters in the manhua are drawn to kinda look the same, so it's hard to tell them apart. HOWEVER !!! the novel. the donghua. the story, the characters in general---so damn good. mdzs holds a special place in my heart. it's so good i cannot recommend enough.

the art for this manhua is beautiful beyond words. i really like the story and the way the author wrote xie lian's character. i have criticisms about tgci and think sometimes it's dragged out, certain important characters fall flat (like hua cheng, who i think when looked at, fundamentally falls apart beyond the surface level), but when i was younger the novel was my favorite thing ever. please read, you won't forget. it's sad but with a sweet ending.

ughhh such a gem among the romance genre ! soo realistic and so believable. the relationships have depth, the characters are flawed and believable, and the story is just ! great. it hurt, i'm ngl, but this is really good.

pretty heavy, tbh, which is one of the reasons why i haven't finished it. it's so good though and i really like the art style. another one of those romance gems that you should definitely read if you're in the mood for something more serious.

this one was kinda mid, but it's slightly better than a lot of stuff out there. my favorite characters are definitely bunny's friends, especially won.

how could i forget??? tamen de gushi is the cutest most adorable thing in existence. it's so high school and sweet and youth and nostalgia and wholesome. i love the two girls together ughhh i give my heart out to them. also wish i had a friend like mophead back in high school tbh.

this author is just incredible. this manhwa, oh my god. it's not outstanding, but i think that's what makes it good. it's not over-the-top or super dramatic and it doesn't try too hard. it's casual, realistic, simple, but with a good enough dose of drama. plus points for the mc being darker-skinned ! need more of those frfr.
