I generally go for stories with a good, chunky plot or where characters go through some kind of emotional growth because I really can't stand pure smut.
Key A masterpiece in my opinion; it stands out
Art that is beautiful and/or a unique style
Short and sweet; around 5-20 chapters max
Some sort of fantasy or supernatural element
A note: there aren't many GLs in this list yet but I'm working on it :)
refreshing art style and tone. The balance and pacing of the romance is perfected. Story is set in a rural town and the choice feels intentional and realistic, not like the characters were just thrown in there for the gimmick of farm life. Also, I've seen some ugly-ass babies drawn up in Manhwas and this one's really cute. My running theory is that high story quality and correct baby anatomy are linked (I'm only half joking >:D).
You may feel your favorite manga should be gathered together into distinct categories for your own reference and, now, you can do this with a LIST. After you've created your list or lists, you can proudly recommend them to other manga fans to showcase and share your taste in manga.
