Reading this is such a lonely journey. All the side characters existed just to be Sung Jingwoo's cheerleaders instead of building meaningful relationships with him and contributing to the story's development. I guess I should have taken the title "Solo Leveling" more seriously. And sorry but the romance was bullshit, these two have zero chemistry.
The art, the world building and the characters are amazing. It's not just a power fantasy, it's a story about stories and what they mean to people. Kim Dokja is probably my favorite mc of all time. However, the manhwa releases slowly and only covers the tip of the iceberg. I recommend reading the web novel.
I used to love this for the characters but as time went on too many charas were added, battles became so stretched out and boring, and villains were cheaply redeemed by adding gap moe to their personalities.
idk I read 5 chapters and I'm not hooked. mc is unlikeable, there's a dumb misunderstanding between him and his bro, the lore is boring, and mc receive's his dead bro's s-rank powers just like that... but ye there's comedy so
