Badass Falls in Love with a Cinnamon Roll and Becomes Soft

So funny. And cute. The MC wants to change the future of the body she woke up (after being iseki-ed). She makes a contract relationship with a 'mercenary' who is the only student of her badass dad. The ML is actually the demon-like crown prince. Not that she recognizes him. Plus her dad absolutely disapproves of their relationship. Comedy and love ensues.

Barely fits this trope. IL doesn't lean into the physically bad-ass side (more of the cold and scheming but he has his moments). MC is mentally badass (and will do anything to survive) but she's generally more innocent and weaker than her IL.

Cute couple but slightly weird at times as she falls in love with a man she thinks could kill her at the drop of a hat (not noticing ML is a huge softie for her, among other things).

MC mistakenly confesses to the wrong man, the 'Grim-Reaper' Duke. Only she didn't realize he had already fallen for her and had been taking care of her ALL THIS TIME in his own way. I'm not bitter for her initial blindness to his affection, you're bitter.

I love the MC, she's a schemer! And the ML becomes insanely strong, so it fulfills most of this trope.

Basically this trope but our MC (FL) is scheming smart and our ML is insanely strong.

It goes both ways in this story - Love power couples.
