Generally cute couple together despite all the miscommunication. Lots steamy moments. Some not so fun moments (a little bit of iffy consent and a fair amount of gore). Love the 'killer falls in love with a cinnamon roll and becomes soft' trope.
MC decides to chose a different path in life after her first one goes terribly. Little slow of developing a moral compass but she manages to attract the attention of knight commander very quickly (both romantically and professionally).
Worth the read if you're interested in a slow burn romance wonderfully combined with fast-paced action.
