intriguing plot, binge read it in a few hours. the title was a little off putting at first but after giving it a chance, i do not regret reading it one bit. starts off with mc dying in her previous life from what she understands is her adoptive father’s attempt to kill her while she was on her way to meet the grand duke for their arranged marriage. she’s brought back 3 years earlier. the grand duke accompanies her as she navigates her powers and her journey.

one of the more interesting historical manhwas i’ve encountered, it isn’t just the basic plot with colored haired mcs. it’s so good that i look forward to seeing it in my notifications. mc has gone through 2 lives, the main plot being her 3rd one. she wishes to escape from what had happened in her previous life when she was the empress and sought help from her friend and penpal from the previous life, the notorious duke of the north.

the plot is interesting, a bit darker than your usual historical manhwa. fl was sent to marry the notorious paladin of the north, famous for rejecting marriage proposals. she does everything in her power to survive in this new world, putting up a facade every time. the leads aren’t in love yet, i do like that they’re taking their time learning about each other and communicating. i wonder where the plot will lead. depictions of eds and incestual desires.

interesting dynamic between the king and his secretary. best way to explain it is “what’s wrong with secretary kim” but historical version. a lot of miscommunication towards the end, a little bit frustrating to read but, that’s what makes their little moments something to treasure. s1 ended, looking forward to future updates!

FL is so badass she can read them like no other. Truly speechless, I applaud the dialogue. The art style is quite eye catching too, and it's nice to see somewhat historically accurate dresses.

so good, i would read the novel. mc is such a girlboss. mc was transported to an otome game she was playing all night as the villainess. from experience from the game she knows that one wrong move can lead to her death. she explores her options as she meets each love interest from the game. the person that can save her may be the one she least expected.
