HOLY FUCK this one is actually genuine horror. They built the mystery (and dread) so well, mostly unpredictable till the end. Omg the FL is a delusional airhead who thinks she's on an Indiana Jones adventure but the comedy/horror is actually balanced so well. Essentially FL ruins the Eldritch monster's plan so he's like fuck this shit I'm out. ML initially planned to sacrifice her but catches feels instead
9.5/10 I am stunned, a SUPER HEALTHY ROMANTIC RELATIONSHIP WITH PHYSICAL AFFECTION (PG 13) IN EVERY CHAPTER WITH UNWAVERING SUPPORT AND COMMUNICATION IN ADDITION TO PRETTY ART AND PEAK COMEDY WITH A COMPLETELY ORIGINAL STORYLINE? Absolutely unheard of and I am here for it.
