CURRENTLY my favourite and probably will be untill i finish the novel (chap 65)
a 10/10. no thoughts about it. both main characters as likeable as eachother and gu miao adorbs and i love her so much the story feels so real and its so easy to become obsessed with these young mens lifes and the hardship they face. it really resonantes with me for some reason and i will be so emotional once i finish it. deffo up to reread the entire thing
10/10 a favourite. this story always finds new ways to come out with the worlds fucking funniest jokes and although the chapters are short, the whole thing is good rereading material with jokes never becoming old. the relationship between the main 4 is one of the worlds greatest blessings and the art style is so gorgeous
10/10 first watched the animated version and fell in love with the movie like aspect to each episode. san lang (hua cheng) and xie lian are the most adorable two ive seen and the historical godlike being storyline is SO INTERESTING! also, in the anime, i fell in love with the upmost gorgeous animation. reading this was an insane jump as the art style is inexplicably the most beautiful thing ive ever seen. the most intricate art with zeal and meticulously curated to show this fitting atmosphere
