high quality yuri manga ive come across that set themselves apart from the more typical high school romance stories of the genre. not that those kinds of stories do not have value, (many can be very good) but i often find myself appreciating a change of pace
some of my criteria include:
- stories that depict relationships between adult women
- unique plots and premises
- leads who are butch/masc presenting
- interesting explorations of gender/sexuality
