I binge read this all in one sitting.This is one of the real Enemies to Lovers, they are truly trying to kill each other. The chemistry between them is chef's kiss. The pacing of the romance is not rushed and just pefect slow burn. The side characters are well written and the plot is really engaging. One of the most well written historical shoujos. I really love how interesting and fresh the characters are. I binge read this without getting bored. I think this is underrated compared to others when it should be having more attention. It doesn't have romance as the focus but there's a slow burn romance. The family is centralized and I just love this so much.
Unique and Refreshing new female lead. FL is kind and warm person but she's not naive. From what we see here, she's not recklessly straightforward nor good at physical strength but she's far from being defenceless. What made her smart is the trauma she went through as previous princess. She's aware of her shortcomings but DOESN'T RELY on the male lead. The important thing too is FL and ML doesn't whitewash each other. They're aware of their own nature.
Not bad. This has a cliche storyline where the MC is a special girl who can help the ML sleep. The thing that makes it good is how it's written. The ML is not a boring or just a flirty man for a change, he thinks of MC and questions strange things. Our MC is not strong badass girl but I love that she wants to get to know Hailey, the body she transmigrated to. She doesn't act like she owns the body, she has respect for it. She does her best which is quite endearing.
