MC has a tragic backstory and it becomes his main motivation. The development of his character is well-paced and his growth in power and intellect is noticeable when comparing the first few chapters to the latest. One of my favorite rereads.

MC is so badass-- one of my favorite MC's.
Summary:
MC and his master are killed after being accused of practicing forbidden demonic arts. MC reincarnates not long after in the body of a weak boy in the demonic cave where hundreds of children are trained and picked off in order to groom the strongest warriors for the demonic cult. MC must grow stronger in order to survive and to fulfill his revenge.
