So surprisingly good! I really thought it was going to be a cringey, not logical, fun read. The only part I got right was the fun read. It's thankfully super self aware, the main character makes GREAT choices and i always love when characters actually think deeper than surface level.
it started really funny and entertaining and then got REALLY HOT AND ROMANTIC, I love that. Felix is one of a kind istg, he's so far been every type of best guy there is: gentle type, magician type, unrequited love type, type with glasses, and then tortured and scarred type, and then suddenly got ripped and muscle type and now dark haired mysterious silent type. HIS APPEARANCE ARC IS LIKE NO OTHER
One of the best webtoons i've read for sure. Although, the drama and the characterisations are generally similar to other webtoons, the ARTSYLE and the concept itself is so unique and interesting. Webtoons set in a far eastern historical setting are either a HUGE miss or EXCELLENCE, there is NO INBETWEEN because of how delicate and full of potential the setting is (this one def is excellence).
Never got bored, not even once. Nothing was majorly cliche so the plots and sub plots were new and fresh as well as exciting. The revenge thing wasn't overplayed, it was amongst other things which is greattt. Also the art was top tier and the translation on here was GREAT AND CONSISTENT (praise the lords) so that's just a straight ticket to 10/10 honestly
Comedy, check. Wholesome family, check. Drama, check. Hot guys, check. Also got very emotional many times. I'll definitely remember this webtoon for a long time (it's also very re-readable so you bet I'm comin back)
It is kinda weird how they spent like 70 chapters reassuring Hari that she's part of the family and wholesomely becoming closer with her brothers...and then had the eldest brother lust after her and very quickly seduce her, and it very shamelessly portrays it as romantic and 'why are other people judging our relationship!' 'I don't know either honey, we're just in love!'. Kinda crazy.
But other than that I really really enjoyed it!!! It was fun and I love family webtoons sm
Art 10/10, drama 10/10, sexual tension with every male character in the vicinity 10/10
LOVE her, LOVE him and the story's interesting! Its always a fun time when u actually like the main characters. It's also interesting how the story hardcore mainly focuses on the couple's relationship as opposed to side plots included, idk if I love that but it was a nice flow that you don't usually get (usually they interrupt progress with some random political old man)
There's some plot holes, like character continuity, namely: Kiera's personality changes which also changed her entire wardrobe and everything without even touching upon it besides the minor "Hmm maybe I should change a bit". BUT I did want it, cuz I love the dresses and I also HATED how she used to be so whatever. The romance is also a bit wishy washy, there's no actual solidity for their feelings...BUT ITS A LOVE TRIANGLE WHICH I LOVE AND THEYRE BOTH SUPER HOT
