♡ Unbelievably and unexpectedly good + there's a novel! I thought it would be the same old overused fantasy hero story but i was pleasantly surprised. Smth ab the writing during emotional scenes touches my soul and my tearducts too lol. Hes one of the best mcs i know n he really grows on you. ☆ Ch 75 This is quite good?? The way this story explores the intricacy of trauma is so realistic n full of depth. Theres moments i just cried learning ab all the sht theyve been through bc i understood how horribly hurt n scarred they were. The flashbacks of the mc n her mother had me so conflicted. Betrayal is never easy to digest but I think being a mother is healing the mc's pain from losing her own to the truth. will let this slowburn marinate i feel there will be a lot to unpack soon
