Isekai - A lot of this story was predictable, but just really well done. The leads were likable and didn’t suffer from the weaknesses some stories impose, like self-pity or ignorance. Just all around a really good story. I was super stressed out by the empress selection, the emperor under a spell, and waiting for Ella to come back and fuck everything up….! But an ignominious death for the dowager, the 2nd prince raising strawberries, the foreign emperor being a good guy…just great.
Ongoing
This is a fun take - the evil sister is the one who regressed, not the FL. The ML was interested in the FL right from the start, and the king is actually smart, not dopey or corrupt or evil. Kinda refreshing. I want maur!!!
Completed
Isekai - I honestly found this a little tiresome about ⅔ of the way thru. It was all business and perfume, almost no romance until like ch. 75. The FL just walked around, trampling feelings, oblivious to everything until the ML kisses her and suddenly they’re making out everywhere?? Poor guy was doing the hard work for months and months. It ends happy, but all the drama wraps up too fast. Even the OG FL barely plays a part. And I’d love to see justice for the 5th prince.
Completed
Isekai…kinda…regression… actually, not! I really liked the first half of this. I liked that the FL wasn’t going to be swayed and the emperor liked her anyway. But I got really upset when she just couldn’t let go of the “story” and ran away. And then she comes back and there’s the crazy high priest/demon/primordial god thing, and her backstory became all convoluted…I mean then end up together, but all the romance fizzled in the 2nd half.
Ongoing
Regression with a future-revealing book - I like this a LOT. The FL really is a villainous character at first, and slowly begins to change her future and herself. The ML…he was so disinterested in her at the beginning. I’m glad she tried to break things off or gets angry with him. It gets a little tiresome when she tries to set up the ML with the OGFL, and then gets accused of murder, and it does take them forever to realize they’re in love, but the ending of the villain is satisfying.
Completed
Isekai - no romance. Boring. The ML was kinda awful almost the whole time.
