misleading appearances/gap moe (scary appearance + kind personality)

MC is like. misunderstood (but tbf to everyone else, he lets it happen/purposefully allows rumors to circulate to protect an acquaintance) and perceived as scary/unlikeable, but people slowly take note of otherwise :) at heart this is a mystery tho, so the focus rlly isn't on that.

kinda!! like ppl either perceive mc as a terrifying killer who's an absolute psychopath about it, or they see him as mr. refreshing/popular. really, he's just a sincere/earnest boy who wants to learn the concept of normalcy + relationships :)
