after an oracle demands that her family can only have one daughter, she plans on diligently carrying out that job. but suddenly, a second woman shows up, claiming that she is the fake. she is executed at the hands of her own father, who's love she craved more than anything. with time suddenly turned back- she has to escape or change the future.
again. and again. again. in the beginning she is loyal to her family, whom she believed loved her in return. but after the first death is the second, and eventually, she dies 7 times over in the most painful of ways. again and again she struggles to break the chain and find peace, but on her eighth life, she's getting closer than ever.
she is transported into a game she got absorbed into overnight. she played through normal mode that night as the main character, and decides to play again on the hardest difficulty. she finds that this entails gaining the trust of the main leads- but as the villain of the story. before she is able to complete it, and dying hundreds of times, she wakes up as a character she dreads being the most. the villain who can never make it out alive.
sure, she may have been a little rude, loud, unruly- but she didn't deserve death. it was unfair, to be put to death at the hands of her so called brother. if she could turn back time, if she could just say something different? she wakes up, years in the past and an hourglass at her side. although paying a price she can turn back time for a short period. no more mistakes. she'll completely take revenge. it won't be her head that rolls this time.
the fifth princess of ten children. a king demands that one child could live out of them all. killed in her first life through poisoning despite being careful, she decides the only thing she can do is 'fake crazy' until she makes her escape, and hopefully she'll live longer this time. [tbh the courage she has? commendable. she's committed to that role.]
i think she's pretty realistic for a main character. with her past memories her actions are reasonable, she's not 'so much smarter' or 'way more badass' she just is more grown up in comparison to her past life. on top of remembering her previous one, i love the ml, fl, and the father. love love love this story.
i really like her character, and her relationship with the male lead is awesome. i just like her thought process so she goes on this list
