Unsatisfying end, some questions unanswered, some trails/hints didn't get picked up on again

I never ever expected this to be this good. It was messy and funny and cringy and full of "Oh fuck no fr"
Cook gets teleported into a bl novel. In order to keep the MCs future love interest from killing him later on, cook tries to gets on MCs good side. Accidentally makes everyone fall in love with him. Homeboy was househusbanding a little too close to the sun.
You'll see the knife flying towards you yet it's still gonna hit you.
