(>‿O) Socially awkward

For those who can`t talk              
when near the unknown                 
whose feelings are rattled            
with a serious tone.                  
For the shy and the meek              
who shuffle from strangers            
who show no emotion                   
for they know the world`s dangers.     
For the socially awkward!

Might they turn to those near
and open their hearts
they`re not all that queer.
Let them speak what they feel.
Let them know they are heard.
They want it so much
just to say those few words.
For the socially awkward!

Their thoughts be expressed
and maybe, just maybe
you`ll find yourself blessed.
They have somehing to say
they`re desperate to show it
just lend them an ear.
And maybe you`ll know it.
For the socially awkward!

With initiative lacking
they want to be noticed
In silence they`re cracking
they cannot take risks
it`s hard to unwind
when acting near people
They come somewhat blind
as they draw a blank.

They don`t know what to do
so walk to them say hi
they`ll appreciate you.
To the socially awkward!
For thus is term
reach out and touch them
to our hearts you have wormed.
