wowowow what a wonderful ride this was and a truly worthy binge! I’m so happy i accidentlly stumbled across this while looking for a different manga and feel so lucky to have met such wonderful characters. I can definitely see why this series isn’t rated as highly, but it was still a worthy binge for me (about 8-ish days during finals week too?) a lot of parts didnt feel fully fleshed out like the author simply wanted to portray a place of extremes without too much regard for believability like extreme misogyny or OP male characters, and the lore that was intriguing only got brief explanations at the end. There are too many good things to talk about in this manga for a proper comment! It’s just amazing. Pauliana is strong in so many ways and her interactions with all the characters are great. Romance, issues of her being a woman in power, politics within the forces, etc. are integral to the story but they don’t overshadow the other.
