In the word there are hunters and restorers. MC is the latter. He’s very good at what he does and very elusive. ML, a hunter, uses MC’s traumatic past to blackmail MC into working with him to complete gates. MC’s relatively compliant but fails to take care of himself and ML won’t let that slide.

MC is stuck in a lab/training facility with people with powers. He hides his ability to read the minds of those he touches and longs to escape. He’s cunning and secretive, however there is little he can do to escape. ML is powerful and takes an interest in MC. ML offers to help him escape and MC is forced to make a decision. Too bad MC’s powers don’t work on ML.

Really really cute. FL falls in love with the girl she was planning on ehem getting rid of. FL claims to be head over heals for a guy but cares deeply for MC. MC is just glad to have found a friend, though she doesn’t always like the trouble they seem to get into.
